Dolly hosted a private listening party on Monday in Nashville for her latest Dolly: Live From London CD/DVD release. Numerous celebrities were in attendance including Wynonna Judd, George Jones, Carrie Underwood and Kelli Pickler. A photo gallery from the event has been posted at CMT.com. In an interview with Canada’s Metro News, Dolly talks about keeping up her appearance including how she plays guitar with her long fingernails. The article also mentions that The Book Lady documentary, which focuses on Dolly’s Imagination Library, will have its first Canadian broadcast on Sunday, November 22nd, on the CBC program Canadian Reflections. Finally, Dolly’s scheduled interview this week on HLN’s The Joy Behar Show has been moved to this Friday, November 13th.

Legacy Recordings has released part two of their Dolly podcast series. This week’s episode focuses on Dolly’s early days with her Uncle Bill Owens when she recorded her first single “Puppy Love”, her first time on the Opry, and moving to Nashville. The podcast also features clips of “God’s Coloring Book”, “Puppy Love”, “Nobody But You”, “Dumb Blonde”, “Just Someone I Used To Know” and “Daddy Was An Old Time Preacher Man”. Dolly is making the rounds this week on various TV shows to promote her new Dolly: Live From London CD/DVD release. Dolly did numerous satellite interviews today with various TV stations, including one with ABC News which can be viewed on their website. Tomorrow (November 9th), Dolly will be interviewed on CNN International’s Connect the World program where fans can also post their questions for Dolly on their website.

Coming up this Thursday (November 12th), Dolly will be appearing on Good Morning America, HLN’s The Joy Behar Show, and on The Jay Leno Show’s 10@10 segment. Then tune into CMT’s Top 20 Countdown at 11 AM on Friday. Dolly’s recent interview with GAC will air on their Top 20 Country Countdown on November 20th.

Dolly will also be featured in an upcoming BBC1 special on faith along with former Prime Minister Tony Blair, Archbishop Desmond Tutu, and actress Sheila Hancock. The interviews were conducted by Fern Britton and each person will be featured in their own episode called Fran Britton Meets… airing in November and December.

Legacy Recordings has just launched the first of a four-part Dolly podcast hosted by Eric Chase. The first podcast debuted today and a new podcast will be released every Wednesday this month. Each podcast will feature music from Dolly’s new box set, interviews with Dolly’s friends and other singer-songwriters, and an interview with Dolly from the mid-70’s as she discusses her life, music and creative process. This week’s podcast features Laura Cantrell and Janis Ian commenting on Dolly’s music along with clips of songs from early on in Dolly’s career like “Joshua”, “Down From Dover”, “Daddy’s Moonshine Still”, “In The Good Old Days”, and “Coat Of Many Colors”. Check back next Wednesday for the second podcast!

Dolly will be stopping by the GAC studios this week for an interview to promote her Live From London CD/DVD and GAC is asking fans to send in their questions for Dolly! Fans are encouraged to send their most unique questions before tomorrow, November 5 at 12 noon Central.

Dolly is one of several honorees being inducted into the Music City Walk of Fame this coming weekend in Nashville along with Kid Rock, Charlie Daniels, Ernest Tubb and Tootsie Bess. Each honoree will have a star-and-guitar marker unveiled in their names in downtown Nashville this Sunday, November 8th, at the Hall of Fame Park on Demonbreun between 4th and 5th Avenues South. Dolly is scheduled to attend the public event which kicks off at 2 PM.

Another new video clip from the upcoming Live From London has debuted on country music blog, The Boot, this time of Dolly singing “I Will Always Love You”. The live album CD/DVD combo drops next week and is available for pre-order now from Amazon and her official website.
