After much anticipation, Dolly’s new career-spanning box set hits stores today featuring seven previously unreleased tracks and a full-color 60 page booklet with never-before-seen photos. Fans who ordered the box set via Sony/Legacy also received A Real Live Dolly as a free fully remastered bonus album which also included four additional bonus tracks. The box set is still available with the free bonus album for a limited time from Sony/Legacy. Fans not wanting the free bonus album can also order the box set at a discounted rate of just $30.99 from Amazon for a limited time.

Also hitting stores today is Kenny Roger’s new box set Kenny Rogers: The First 50 Years which features a new duet with Dolly on the song “Tell Me That You Love Me”. Their new duet is also available on Kenny Rogers: The Greatest Duets CD which features all the duets from his box set. Dolly dishes about her life, career and numerous upcoming projects in a new interview that is making the rounds through various Canadian newspapers syndicated by Sun Media. In the interview, Dolly reveals that she’ll likely tour toward the end of next year and she still plans on releasing both a dance album and children’s album. “I have done a lot of dance songs and I will put that out at the right time. I have a lot of fans that love to dance; I have a huge gay following,” Dolly states. “I definitely would love to do a children’s show like Pee-Wee’s Playhouse, something entertaining to grownups too. And I will do some children’s albums; in fact, I have that kind of on a front burner.” As for what she’s working on now, Dolly said “Right now, I’m working on a musical of my life story for the next several months. Dolly’s live performance of “Jolene” from her upcoming Live From London CD/DVD has debuted on country music blog, The Boot. Dolly’s Live From London album, featuring 15 live recordings of her biggest hits, drops November 10th and is available for pre-order now from Amazon and her official website.

A brand new Dolly and Kenny Rogers duet will be featured on Kenny’s upcoming box set, Kenny Rogers: The First 50 Years, due out October 27th from Time Life (the same day as Dolly’s new box set). Dolly had mentioned in her blog back in February that she would be recording a new duet with Kenny and now their new duet titled “Tell Me That You Love Me” will be released on Kenny’s upcoming 3 CD collection.
