Watch Dolly’s Full Interview From ’60 Minutes’

For those who missed Dolly’s fantastic interview on ’60 Minutes’, CBS has posted the entire 13 minute segment online that fans can watch in the player below. The show profiled Dolly as she shared stories from her childhood, also discussing her business empire and her latest projects. In an emotional moment towards the end of the segment, Morley Safer surprised Dolly with an old video clip of Dolly singing with her family on her 1970′s variety show to which Dolly got choked up watching. Fancast has also posted several extended clips from her interview which can be viewed on their website.

Dolly Featured In AARP Magazine

Dolly Parton on the cover of AARP MagazineDolly is featured on the cover of AARP Magazine‘s May/June issue along with an extensive interview inside. In the feature article, Dolly discusses everything from her growing up days, her 9 To 5 Broadway musical, and starting her own record label (Dolly Records) which the article states paid for itself in only three months after releasing Backwoods Barbie. Considering it an investment in herself, Dolly said, “After you reach a certain age, they think you’re over. Well, I will never be over. I’ll be making records if I have to sell them out of the trunk of my car. I’ve done that in the past, and I’d do it again.” The issue is on newsstands now and fans can read the article on the AARP website.
