Watch Dolly’s Full Interview From ‘60 Minutes’
For those who missed Dolly’s fantastic interview on ‘60 Minutes’, CBS has posted the entire 13 minute segment online that fans can watch in the player below. The show profiled Dolly as she shared stories from her childhood, also discussing her business empire and her latest projects. In an emotional moment towards the end of the segment, Morley Safer surprised Dolly with an old video clip of Dolly singing with her family on her 1970’s variety show to which Dolly got choked up watching. I just loved this interview and so excited to find it. I missed this on 60 minutes and so glad this was posted. Dolly is a very classy lady and yet so real and down to earth.
When I was 10 years old our house burned down and we were put on the Cas Walker show to have people donate clothing or money or whatever we needed. My Dad died and my Mom was left to go to work and support 6 girls.. I just remember Dolly was on the show when we were there and it is a memory I will never forget.
God Bless Dolly! There is not a more beautiful state than Tennessee. So very proud.
