Tickets for 9 To 5: The Musical go on sale to the general public tomorrow, December 1st via Ticket Master. Previews start April 7th at the Marriott Marquis Theatre in New York with the show officially opening on April 30th. The show previously made a test run at the Ahmanson Theater in Los Angeles with reviewers giving mostly positive remarks to Dolly’s songwriting and the cast’s performances. Based on the hit 1980 film and featuring music and lyrics written by Dolly Parton, the upcoming Broadway show stars Allison Janney, Stephanie J. Block, and Megan Hilty as the three fed up secretaries out to get revenge on their male chauvinist boss, played by Marc Kudisch.

In related news, fans can now order the original 9 To 5 soundtrack for a limited time from Intrada Records. Remastered from its original LP release, this version is being limited to only 3000 copies and features Dolly’s Oscar-nominated hit theme song along with the film’s original score by Charles Fox. The soundtrack drops December 9th and can be pre-ordered now from Amazon.
