An expanded Q&A with Dolly from her Billboard interview has been posted to the magazine’s website today. Among the highlights from interview, Dolly discusses the last time she performed for Porter before he passed. “When I saw Porter sitting there on that stool and I got ready to sing that song, it was all I could do to get through it. You know how they say your whole life flashes before you just before you die? Well, my whole life flashed before me just before Porter died. I saw all of our fights, all of our joys, all of those early shows.” Dolly also reveals that she’ll be mixing things up in her new Backwoods Barbie World Tour, kicking off tonight in Pittsburgh, saying that she’s added five songs from her new Backwoods Barbie album plus older favorites like “Joshua” and “White Limozeen”.
