Dolly To Play Santa Rosa in ‘07
Dolly has added Santa Rosa, California as one of her early 2007 U.S. concert dates, playing the Grace Pavilion at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds on February 14th. She played the Wells Fargo Center for the Arts in Santa Rosa as part of her 2005 “Vintage” tour and had such a good time at the venue she wanted to return. However, Dolly’s elaborate stage set up for this set of concerts, with her double staircase and hydraulic lift, would not fit on the Wells Fargo Center’s stage and for the first time in the venue’s 25 year history, concert organizers had to find an off-site venue to accommodate Dolly’s arena-size production. This show is just one of six U.S. shows she will be playing before heading over to Europe in March and it is the only public U.S. show she currently has scheduled for early 2007 that will not be at a casino. Tickets prices are set at $149, $99, $59, and $39 and will go on-sale to Wells Fargo Center members on December 5th at noon and to the public on December 8th at noon.
