Dolly will officially kick-off Dollywood’s National Music & Harvest Celebration with a media event to be held at DP’s Celebrity Theatre on Friday (September 23rd) at 2:00 PM. Dolly and festival performer Rhonda Vincent are expected to perform “Jolene” at the event which will be open to the public on a limited seating basis. In addition to her four sold out benefit concerts over the weekend, Dolly will also lead two parades through the park. The first starting at 12:15 on Saturday, and the second at 5:00 on Sunday, weather permitting.

In addition to her previously announced appearances on Good Morning America (Oct 13th), The Tonight Show With Jay Leno (Sept 28th), and Ellen (October 14th), Dolly has added an appearance on Late Night With Conan O’Brien on October 14th. She will also be taping an episode of Larry King Live at Dollywood this Friday, no word of an airdate as of yet.

Brad Paisley’s camp has announced that the track “When I Get Where I’m Going”, which features prominent harmony from Dolly, will be his latest single. The track is the follow-up to the chart-topping “Alcohol,” both from Brad’s latest album Time Well Wasted.

CMT has added the full-length music video for Dolly and George Jones’ duet “The Blues Man” to the station’s website. “The Blues Man” is the first single from Jones’ new CD Hits I Missed…And One I Didn’t, which is in stores now. Go to CMT’s website to watch the video.

Suffering from acute laryngitis and upon her doctor’s recommendation, several of Dolly’s upcoming ‘Vintage’ tour dates have been postponed. Her Myrtle Beach, SC show scheduled for tonight has been postponed due to Hurricane Ophelia with no future date known at this time. The September 16th show in Tallahassee, FL has been moved to December 8th; the September 17th show in Danville, KY has been postponed with no future date announced as of this posting; and the September 18th show in Birmingham, AL has been rescheduled to December 3rd at 7 PM. Tickets purchased for the original Tallahassee and Birmingham dates will still be honored for the new dates.
