Some of you may already know that Dolly's new and eagerly anticipated studio cd will be out in February 2008 and will be called 'BACKWOODS BARBIE' - Dolly says she has recorded about 24 tracks for possible inclusion on the disc, including the title track, "I Dreamed About Elvis," "Country Is As Country Does," "Just A Wee Bit Gay," "Put It Off Until Tomorrow," "She Drives Me Crazy" and "Tracks Of My Tears." One of the tracks will be so amuzing to her myriads of gay fans ''Just a Wee Bit Gay," is the song and it's about ... this woman who's married this guy that's gay but she doesn't know it. [Singing lyrics] "You love to do my make-up, you love to fix my hair/ Organize my wardrobe and you do it with such flair/ You stay in my closet longer than I do any day/ But you ever coming out? I think you're just a wee bit gay!" Source: http://www.dollypartonfans.net/cgi-bin/ ... 1176360590

Hmm I think maybe something to do with her life in the Smoky Mountains? I think that will be mentioned somewhere.

I got a chance to listen to the first single off the album and let me tell you, it's like nothing you've heard from Dolly in a very long time. This album is going to be a full-on mainstream country record and nothing like her recent bluegrass material. Danny and his team are putting together the most extensive marketing plan to promote this album that I have ever seen in her career before. Expect to hear A LOT of details in the coming weeks as to what's happening including some MAJOR appearances.

It will definitely be released in the U.K. since she is doing an entire tour in Europe next year along with Australia and North America.

I wonder what the artwork for the album will be like. i think it might be the obvo, dolly in traditional dolly gear in the middle of the mountains! I think tht'd b fab! And i think its gna b a really big seller too. If the publicity is gna b huge, this could be one of her biggest albums ever! Woop!
